Someday....

Humph. I have almost written 5 or 6 posts. Almost. Sometimes, I put up a few pictures and start to caption them. Other times, I jot down a few key phrases that are really mind-blowingly funny and/or intriguing. And then I get distracted by the sunshine and fresh air and hit "save as draft" so that I can skip outside with my kids.... And so, yet another batch of itty-bitty-baby posts will wither and wilt in the purgatory of draft status, hoping against all hope that I may actually publish them. Between the beckoning weather and the final seasons of Lost and Ugly Betty (and Simon Cowell's last time on American Idol!), I just can't seem to get on my computer very often! Someday, little posts. Maybe someday...
Wouldn't you rather be sitting out here than inside by the buzzing screen? Me too.

Oh, I know how you feel. I just had to delete some "drafts" because they were just never going to make it.

And yes, I would rather be outside. I do my posting before my love wakes up. Thankfully.

Been there! I too would much rather be playing with sidewalk chalk and a cabin then sitting in front of my computer. Thank God for naptime!

I know how it goes.

Love Lost by the way. Even though I'm confused.

I have a file called "unfinished" just swimming with...well unfinished stuff. The sad part is going back to something I thought was “Oh, so witty” only to discover that, no, it really wasn't.

I'm having a hard time keeping up on my fave bloggs and my own too! It's gorgeous, and as always life is busy!!!
Can't say that I blame you...even though I do so look forward to your posts.

Did your kiddoz draw all over the cabin? haha!
I think I am banning sidewalk chalk in my house (maybe) the 4 year old decided to color the outside of the house, I wasn't fond of it!
I love that you can save posts for a later date but I forget about some of them too!

Ahhh gotta love it when the priorities are aligned. I love their creativity with the chalk. It's definitely something you can never have enough of!

Sidewalk chalk and sunshine, there's not much better, is there?? And I'm very curious about what's in the blue cooler. =>

The blue cooler HAD wine and beer in it and is now housing some toy guns and a jumprope for tying up bad guys.

The thing I don't like about those old drafts, because I've got a few myself, is that on blogger, should you reopen and finish those drafts, they will be posted on the date you started them. So, I am never motivated to go back and finish them. Anyways, here's to someday!!!

I'm loving the sunshine!

JC, you CAN change the date of the post on the lower left side of the screen. Just before hitting post, click on the "Post Options" and then change the date and/or time to match the day you finish the post! This is also how you can mark posts to go up without you. Like, if you're on vacation and want to have a post go up without you...
