Mother's Day 2008
It never fails. Gather a group of women together, and eventually, the talk turns to birth stories. Epidurals, hours pushing, how many stitches, home birth or hospital, adoption processes and when you finally started sleeping through the night; no topic is taboo.
Men don't understand it...

The full link was a really nice post, very nice. Thanks for helping to job my memory on the smells and eye gazing....sometimes I forget about all those 'firsts'. It's nice to recall them.
You've hit the nail right on the head. Men just don't get it, and women can talk about it for hours.

That is so funny but true. I am probably the worst about doing this. I have had a few interesting births. My son came on 4th of July very unexpectedly and I find myself wanting to tell everyone about it.
