At this moment I am sipping some joe and listening to Patrick attempting to remember "Greensleeves" on the guitar. It's been a year since he played it last, and I'm waiting for his brain to just "get it." Annnny minute now....

Ooh, I'm glad Josh is still at an age where he thinks that because he has a talking Elmo toy, the real Elmo actually lives in our house.

Just read the post---oh, what a bitter-sweet moment! I had a friend of mine tell HER FIVE AND SEVEN year olds this week that Santa is not real...for religious reasons. I think she's nuts.

Sigh... I wish I still believed in Santa too.
Ahhhh. I think that's one of the saddest milestones we face as parents. Isn't it? I can remember each one of my kids and the realization. It's like a bittersweet thing. I agree with your :(
