"You can't eat nail polish, Mommy..."
Too true, my dear. It's one of those big disappointments in life. As pretty as nail polish is and as much as you'd LIKE to lick it off your nails, you just can't. It's almost as unfair as my huge desire to simply devour my children.
They're so beautifully delicious, how could I NOT?

When I was little, I had the biggest urge to eat crayons. Whenever I open a new box, I still get that urge . . .
Avery always talks about the things we can't eat like that, must be fascinating to those little minds!

so, um, when my oldest was a toddler, he kept biting me... I was puzzled, until my husband pointed out that I had been (ahem) chewing on him since he was a baby. Yup. I've totally chewed on arms and legs- each of the kids. I CANNOT RESIST CHEWING ON A BABY! Don't laugh until you try it...
Thanks guys. It was a completely random shot. They were all laughing and playing in the hallway and I grabbed my camera. I actually can't stand that there is a plastic shopping bag in the background (Patrick's doing. Not MINE. I am CLOTH girl.)

Great shot! I can never get a good shot of Isabella. Whenever I ask her to smile for the camera, she runs away.

I have the same problem with my kids too...they don't like it so much when I try to eat them though :-)
