You know, it's bad enough that we sometimes feel obligated to do the obligatory posts (hence the word "obligatory") like 100 things, memes and the carnivals and such. It's bad enough that we allow our writing to change due to fear of what others think and what is coming across as lame/brash/pathetic/fill-in-the-blank.
Blogging was stressful enough without having to worry about how your freakin' post title would look on someone else's Comment Luv line. How, when you put a poetic reply to an emotional post at the blog of someone you respect and/or worship, and hit POST, the words "Meow, meow, meow, meow" would appear after your name and strip you of all credibility.
Gah.

LMAO. Oh my gosh this made me laugh soooooooooo hard. It happened to me yesterday - I'm telling someone I'm sorry for something and my link goes to an stripper post. I was like 'well. GREAT.'
So laughing right now! I hadn't thought of that yet. hmmm
Gah! I hadn't ever thought of that!
What I like is to see the searches that result in people coming to my blog. Apparently, some of my titles appeal to a...shall we say "less savory" crowd. For example, today people found me by searching "Mama Spanks Me" "Rejected La Leche Leaguer" and "I Spank Larry King." So, that doesn't really deserve a pat on the back, now does it?
I might think your posted comment was just catty. de dum dum. :)
Groooaaannnn....
Sadly, getty, I had to reread that comment a few times. BUT. I did, eventually, get it! :)
Oh yes, I feel this way too sometimes!! I'm afraid that often the titles of my "previous post" don't really *fit* with my comment on another blog!
HAHAHA!!! That is hilarious! I've thought about that before too. ;) hehe
You put way more thought into it than I ever would! Perhaps you can come up with wild titles that have nothing to do with your blog post (kind of a "made ya look!")
I couldn't agree more. I have a problem with guilt and blogging is not lessening that. I feel guilty not posting daily. I feel guilty reading blogs that I don't comment on. I feel guilty not responding to comments left on my blog. And on and on. I'm just working on accepting the guilt because that's easier than managing all those things I feel guilty about.
Because of Comment Luv, I had to click on over! And yes, this has happened to me on more than one occasion, too. Maybe I should only comment when I haven't written a post about my crotch or hookers.
I had never thought of that before! :) Perhaps I'll have to be a little more careful with my post titles, eh?
Hahaha that is too funny!
You make me laugh here. I've seen some of my post titles in Comment Luv and GAGGED!
Re: your comment. I never thought about the mazes! I'll look for some. Thanks!

Hahaha! I never thought about that.
I had never thought of that either...I am loving your cat!
good one. good one....
HA! I know!!!
I've left replies on professional blogs, and that darn Comment LUV gets me almost every time!
Oh, I love the comment luv, as you can probably tell by use of it on my own blog. I love to see the titles of other people's posts - it helps me to decide which blogs to read first! (And I need all the help I can get.)
You crack me up!
Luv you,
:)
I don't know . . . if I saw that post title after someone's name, I would click on over to find out what it was all about. LOL!
