Forget paying high prices for gassing up the van. Tie the kids to a sled and have them work for those presents! As for trimming the tree, Corinne has found a FABULOUS way to utilize that tree skirt which was just sitting in the corner, all forlorn (our fake tree was ruined in the flood this summer and I've been putting aside a little bit of cash for our traditional tree farm)...
I'm considering wrapping her up in lights and sticking a star on her head and calling it a day.
Too bad for her though, because we're hoping to hit the farm this Sunday. Hope you find the time to fit a holiday tradition or two into the weekend and spend some time with your family!

Have fun finding your tree!
yeah my reader isn't working. Love the skirt ;)
Nice twirl!
She'd be adorable wrapped in lights with a star on her head! Love the twirl shot.
Enjoy the tree trimming! We finished ours up last night and then Jack came down with the stomach flu. At least we'll get it over with before Christmas...
Have fun! I actually got a wee bit of spirit and have started putting up the 2nd tree.
Great action shot of the skirt twirl! So cute!
That is So adorable, a little Mrs Claus :-)
We sneaked in a Swis tradition today, when we attended a St. Nicholas event in a town nearby. I was bored to tears. But it got us out of the house :-)
My boys love putting the little angel on the top of the tree!

Best looking "tree" ever! Makes me think of a Designing Women episode where someone thought the tree skirt was an actual skirt and squeezed herself into it. It was funny.
