Friday Giveaway!

You know how sometimes, your children will give names to things that they love? Names that make NO sense, but you completely understand what they're talking about? We've got quite a few of those, over here: Ya-ya for water. Logrit for Yogurt. The most recent nickname being Corinne's dubbing Jumpstart.com as her "mystery game..." Still not sure where she came up with that name!

So you can imagine my surprise and delight when I was contacted by the company that MAKES her beloved "mystery" game! They wanted to know if I would review their website and share what I thought about it with my invisible friends (i.e. YOU). I responded that hey! We love that site and would be thrilled to have a full membership, in order to explore the site fully.

Let me tell you, Corinne already enjoyed the JumpStart site with the free games they had available. But the expanded site that comes with membership is AWEsome. All of your basic pre-school concepts are covered: letters, numbers, sequencing, cause and effect, and more. They are presented in games that aren't solely focused on timing as many online games are. Clicking a mouse in a timely fashion isn't always a 3 year-old's forte... And the extras that it offers which Corinne thinks is "just for fun?" (she especially loves PetLand where she can adopt and care for a number of adorable pets) She's STILL learning. Gotcha, kiddo...

The best part of all of this long-winded ramble? JumpStart.com has offered 2 three-month memberships to any of you! All you have to do is comment and your name will go into the drawing, which my miniature assistant and I will carry out on the morning of Friday, February 27. If you'd like a second chance to win, just go ahead and post a link on your own site and let me know in the comments. Trust me when I say that this site is really cool and worth the effort to click and comment!

Oh, my nephew would ADORE that. :) Count me in for the "raffle," lol. I am so amazed at the ability of such a young child to understand a computer game! We didn't have a computer in our house until I was 12 - and that was before many of my friends.

WOW. You mean the computer games I always bought for my kids are on an actual website that won't get scratched up or rolled over by an office chair wheel?

Cool.

I don't need to win, though it would be nice, it's just super cool knowing there's a site.

Thanks!

ok this looks like a really great give away.
BTW you have just made a light bulb go off in my head, Someone gave Zack one of the software when he was an infant and I had forgotten about it. I guess I need to find it.

An online site that Atlee hasn't visited? We used to have some Jumpstart software that she loved. Please toss our hats in that ring as well!

Been looking for more sites for my 4-yr old, so this could be perfect! Gonna check it out more later and if it's as great as it sounds I'll be linking on my (poor neglected) blog too.

This would be a great surprise for my preschooler! It would be nice to have something besides noggin for him to play with on the computer.
