yawn...

Just a quickie, as I've got to get to school in 20 minutes to get Justin. The whole Kindergarten and 3rd grade thing is going well, so far. Evan is having such fun in school! He has a new! best! friend! and is great about all of the in's and out's of school. Today, when I picked him up at 11:30, I videotaped Corinne waiting for him outside, and when he came out, they ran into each other's arms and hugged and kissed and were SO happy to see each other. "Evie!" "Rinny!" A very sweet moment...

Justin is doing well, at least as far as I know. I'm going to email his teacher today and just ask for a quick update and see what the routine has been so far. The first few weeks are just adjustment periods, so I'm not expecting horrible or wonderful behavior. Just curious.

I got a total of 4 1/2 hours of sleep last night. yay... I have GOT to figure out how to fall back asleep, cuz this exhaustion is horrible. I'm drained. I'm so tired, I can't even bring myself to most of your blogs... sorry. I promise, I've been reading some through bloglines, but not clicking through much as I'm zombie-like.

Hmm. That's it. We hit the park this morning and it's hot right now, but I get to walk to school AGAIN today. 3 times a day might not seem like much, but when you're exhausted, it's crazy. And I don't do heat well. I get mucho bitchy. Oh, and I get to sit through soccer practice again tonight. In the HEAT.

Somebody send me a frozen espresso or something....

the heat is NO fun....but, think of all that exercise you're getting - I'm jealous of the exercise!

frozen expresso during the day, perhaps, but here's a frozen margarita to help you sleep at night.

Try soccer in the fall in south Texas. Oh wait...there is no fall in South Texas.

We start our season up pretty soon too. Yikes.

I know just how you feel. I went back and forth 3 times last year too. 10 min drive each way. Then we moved and now I'm the biggest fan of the bus!!!

I hear you about the heat. Girlie Girl's school is only about a 10 minute walk but I insist on driving!

Try to get some sleep!
