September Morn

Oh my Freaking Lord. Did I really post myself dying my hair? On the internet? And do I really think that this is the type of crap that will garner me loyal readers or potential advertisers?

FYI:
I HAVE AD SPACE! I WANT TO GO TO BLOGHER11 in
SAN DIEGO!!!!! EMAIL ME!!

(Don't you find it so tacky when people beg for advertising money?)

Ahem.

It's SEPTEMBER!!! Do you know what that means? It means that the skies are blue and the wind is crisp in Illinois. It means park days and day trips to Chicago. It means I can wear jeans instead of shorts and can miss a day shaving my Italian legs. It means it will be dark by 8 so the kids are fooled into believing it's later than they think and I can stay up late with Patrick and a bottle of wine. (wink, wink)

I am most definitely smiling this WINDY September morning as I drink my coffee with the curtains flailing in the gusts. I am happy and positive that good things are on the horizon...

~~

4 more days till my men return home...

So. What do you do for the next four days? And does the brown stuff (I assume that's hair dye) on your arm wash off?

That video was a scream! having never dyed my hair myself, I think you have convinced me not to...

But your looks fantastic! And you are so adorable, loved it!

It is good to know you are in good spirits (and that you will be able to go without shaving your legs. BONUS! lol...)

It's getting crisp up here in Mani-SNOW-ba, too. I can almost smell snow in the air. Almost. If I didn't have a hot cup of coffee, blogs to read and a napping baby, I would be despairing a little. It's 50F at the moment.

Well, this summer, jeans were pretty much required at least once a week. It has been not a great summer here. :/ But, fall brings its own delights, indeed!

September, let's see... that means that:
- I get another year older
- the rain season starts up again in Switzerland
- there will be no vacation for another 6 weeks
- it's 3 1/2 months to Christmas and I should start thinking about what to get for everyone
- 5 weeks before I got to London!
- summer is over already. Sucky.

I straightened my hair when I was young with a reverse Tony and it turned green then fell out. I dyed my hair myself a few years ago and it turned yellow - streaked. Now I have it done by someone who knows what they are doing.

Autumn is my favorite time of year....not only for the reasons you mentioned but because I LOVE the way it smells outside!
I love Starbucks Seasonal Gingerbread latte, I love all th fall holidays. I am actually halloween costume shopping now! But most important.....I love not going to the gym, LOL.
Ya so I use fall and winter as a excuse not to work out.....so sue me!

ok..you'll laugh..I made you a video of me coloring my hair with the wide tooth comb method. When I figure out how to send it to you I will. Now we're both lame.
