Surprises, surprises....

Hey, did you know that kids will actually get mad at you for saying "let's go to the park after Corinne's dance class!" Did you know that?

I will never take them to her class again without first shoving huge breakfasts down their throats.
Hunger and my boys do not meld well. And the day from there on out was a huge battle. I'm thinking I was supposed to learn from this. The lesson?

Relax.

Let go.

And Feed Your Children.

There was much head banging and tears today. I simply can't speak about their (or my) behavior any more. Tomorrow WILL be a better day. And thinking of my neighbor who is flat on her back after having complications from an epidural makes me think that my day wasn't so bad after all...

go easy on yourself...there is just one of you and more than one of them...and your feelings are just as important as the next gal's...so stop that comparing thing!! Hugs to you, I hear the bad day thing LOUD and CLEAR!!

I am right there with you on having a bad day. I am trying hard to be optimistic that tomorrow will be a better day.

THe thing I find about bad days is that afterwards, I can really use them to figure out what sort of mother I DO want to be, right? And so I know that today will be a better day for you.

Feeding them is really important - I've made this mistake several times. May tomorrow involve a lot of snacks.
