My mom came over to help me after I had my last baby, and she was folding laundry. She counted 32 mismatched socks in the bottom of the laundry basket!
I eventually threw them all away and bought white ones for all of them. And slightly different styles for each boy, sorting is a snap now!
Hope they all are feeling better soon, tending sick children is exhausting!!

Your sock comment is so funny. Reminds me I lost a sock of Fly's and when I finally found it on the floor of our bathroom that is in a perpetual state of remodeling, I didn't even want to touch it. I think it might still be there.
