He gone!

(White Sox fans know what I'm talking about...)

Day 1 of weird-vampire hours...

Patrick headed off to his new job today, after sleeping in until 9 am!

Yeaaaahhh, that's enough sleep to keep him moving till 3 am. Sure thing! After "sleeping in," he headed off to continue the hunt for a job that will allow him to SEE his children. On his way home, he stopped to get some supplies for eating nocturnally. While at Aldi, he also remembered a big bottle of this for his lonely wife....
(is there anything cuter than a Winking Owl on a cheap bottle of wine? I think not...)

He knows me so well.

I'll miss you, honey. I love you....

I bet he won't have trouble sleeping in tomorrow! ;-)

Thanks for your comment, you may want to check out the humility I posted this evening. It's been quite a day here!

I hope you all have a great first night!

Some of my favorite wine is the cheap stuff--Yellow Tail!--I learned a long time ago, never judge a wine by its price ;)

Hope the job goes well :)

I'm such a sucker for cheap wine and cute labels . . .

Is that wine good? It sure looks good.

Kelcey, the wine does what it's supposed to do, which is relax me without costing an arm or a leg. Since I am frugal (NOT cheap, no matter what Patrick tells you!), this is a very good wine for me...

Wait just a minute there. You can get wine at Aldi's??!! It must be so nice to live in a state that's not assbackwards about the sale of alcohol. So very nice.

It is. It is....

I have a friend who moved to Arkansas and lives in a dry county. Which I didn't even know still existed, really.... So.... She has to drive to another county, get LOTS of alcohol, and bring it home to drink in the SECRECY of her own home (or friend's home) but can't enjoy a glass of wine on her own patio...

You wild and crazy Southerners!

I saw something on tv a while back about a survey they did with wine drinkers. They took a cheap bottle and put an expensive label on it, and an expensive bottle and put a cheap label on it.

You guessed it! The experts LOOOVED the cheap wine more! So, yes, cheap wine is good! I'm all for an inexpensive buzz. Cuz the hangover is soooo the same! lol
