Pie Day!

It helps to have a math teacher for a sister, because it enlightens you to all sorts of " fun" facts like my title... Do you know that her school actually brings in pies today and does cutesy stuff? I obviously missed out with my old math teachers!

Can I just say it is GORGEOUS lately? Yes, it is supposed to drop about 20 or 30 degrees this weekend, but that is FINE cuz the weather has been in the 40's and 50's. FORTIES AND FIFTIES people!!! Like, freakin summer!! Well, not quite that warm, but definitely light coats and sitting in the sunshine drawing with chalk. Oh, and going to the park and riding bikes and a husband that grills steak in a tank top and shorts (he's nuts).

Yes. Winter is on its last legs and the sun is winning.

Annnnnddddd.... that's about it. That's my Friday post. Hmmm. I'm obviously slacking, but I can surely appease you all with some cute pictures of my kids, right?

Don't you wish you were 2 again? Oh! That I could fly in the clouds like her!!!

It took an EMBARRASSINGLY long time for me to "get" why it was Pie Day, and what your sister being a math teacher had to do with it.

D'OH!

That's it--you've encouraged me to have a PIE day here. Forget the math, I'm going straight to pecan. Yum.

I'm embarrassed...it took me a while to get the "pie day". I guess I've been out of math way too long! Now I'm inspired to have pie for dessert.

Ooops! I just read the comments...well at least I know I wasn't the only one!

Happy Friday too.

Alright, I realize that you're talking about a different type of pie than this, but I have always maintained that if my 4th grade teacher had used a real pie to demonstrate fractions, I would have understood it much quicker. I had no idea what he was talking. I remember thinking that surely he couldn't be talking about a literal pie.

Cute pictures! I have to say, that living in FL these last 9 months has TOTALLY ruined us. Temps in the 40's and 50's has now been defined as "freezing" and any day not in the 70's almost 80's is a total let down.

Yesterday it was 50 degrees here. Of course, I was stuck inside with a sick baby and couldn't go out to enjoy it. :(

BUT, I'm glad you did. Corinne looks like she's having a blast.
