Musical help!

Hey, I need some suggestions. I frequently make music picture montages for my kids, and I am finding it hard to think of new songs. (especially since I'm so bad at remembering song titles and musician names) I have lots of songs already being used and I don't like to reuse them, so any unusual OR popular songs would be appreciated. Anything talking about parental love, childhood, innocence, etc. Just be sure to list the artist's name and the title if you know them, PLEASE!! You can check out my other montages to get a feel for what I like (if you want).

THANKS!!! I have a new montage almost ready for Justin. I just need the last roll of film developed and I'm all good.

Tracey, I'm supposed to be working, LOL! I can't resist a music cry for help, though. :) I love the songs you picked for your other montages, especially that "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" one.

Bob Dylan - Protect My Child
Chris Rice - Wonder
Innocence Mission - Bright as Yellow
Innocence Mission - Edelweiss (actually, anything from the "Now The Day Is Over" album)
White Stripes - We're Going To Be Friends
Jars of Clay - Like a Child
The Choir - Butterfly (very obscure but awesome...let me know if you can't find it or want lyrics or something)

Ok, I just made one of these a few weeks ago..and I used "One Good Well" by Don Williams. This is one of my all time favorite songs...I absolutely love the lyrics. It made for a really great video of my kids pics. We even had this song in our wedding!

Oh man, I'm watching VH1 Classic and they just played "Time in a Bottle" by Jim Croce. I didn't know he wrote that for his newborn son! I'm sniffling here. I thought of you and your project...it's a great song.

I have NO idea. I have never even done one of those music things with pictures. I can't wait to see what you pick!

For pictures of a daddy & son I think
"Watching You" by Rodney Atkins would work.

Also, for a boy "Beautiful Boy" by John Lennon if its from dad and by Celine Dion if its from mom.
"The first time ever I saw your face" by Roberta Flack. Okay I'll stop :)

Ruby I already have 2 of those songs in use! :) They're good ones. I'll have to check on the third... Thanks.

Kelly, I'm still searching for the songs on your first list! And I also really like Time in a Bottle. I'll have to think about it though, as an ex-boyfriend once made me a tape with it on it and I listened to that tape every day for months...

Tracey, e-mail me at kelly_jeanie@yahoo.com with which ones you are still trying to find and I'll see what I can find.

I did find the lyrics for The Choir - Butterfly:

The audio link doesn't work but the lyrics are there.
