My capacity for surprise at the unbelievable crap that people will do to each other is pretty low these days. It makes me so sad.CaraBeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04614627167922944626noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27598861.post-39061838224315284102010-09-12T23:26:27.797-05:002010-09-12T23:26:27.797-05:00After working for child protective services many y...After working for child protective services many years ago, I learned you cross the line any time you want if you feel a kid is being abused. All the parent can do is yell back but you diffuse the situation. If it were an animal you would step in. With humans we have a very stupid societal line, that puts kids over the edge.
Cathy Cress MSW
http://momlovesyoubest.wordpress.com/Cathy Jo Cresshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18364887451426338487noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27598861.post-7825151947517680712010-09-12T19:53:07.115-05:002010-09-12T19:53:07.115-05:00Wow, I cannot wait to hear the story...! This afternoon, I had a situation where I overheard a mother (after grabbing his toy from his hand) say, "Would you stop it with this chocolate milk thing!" The little boy (probably 4 years old) had asked, "May I please have some chocolate milk?" after he had been playing on the playground. Then she continued playing on her computer. A few minutes later, the mother apparentlu decided that orange soda was a better choice for a drink...poor guy was just thirsty! It's hard b/c I just want to say something, but where do you cross the line??Meg Smithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01290164550389266654noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27598861.post-87836714127206100232010-09-12T08:24:20.343-05:002010-09-12T08:24:20.343-05:00A tricky situation indeed... I told her "No" and wanted to say stick it up your rear, but I didn't. Still makes me mad... I'm sure your's is better.Juliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11147164986410943832noreply@blogger.com
